Obituary for Jeffrey Scott Abney

Jeffrey Scott Abney, 55, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on June 26, 1963 in Parsons, Kansas to Richard Foreman and Aggie Clare (Gahagan) Abney. He went to meet his heavenly Father on Monday, May 27, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Jeffrey graduated from Blair High School in 1982. Then attended college at WOSC in Altus, Oklahoma.
He worked for the State of Oklahoma for many years then later moved into the oilfield.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Elk City, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Oklahoma. Pastor Tommy Dennis will officiate. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory is his brother, Doug Abney and his wife, Lori of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Donna Aldridge; nephew, Ricky Aldridge; aunt and uncle, Gail and Jon Carissimi of Denver, Colorado and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Aggie Abney.
