Obituary for Mack Allen Walker

Mack Allen Walker, 77, of Perry, Oklahoma was born on June 11, 1942 in Yuma, Arizona. He is the son of Joe and Ruby (McMillan) Walker. He passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with his loving family by his side.
He married his sweetheart and best friend, Jerry Miller and they were married for over forty-three years when Jerry preceded him in death on September 19, 2010.
Mack had a passion for cooking, which he did for over fifty years. When Mack wasn’t busy cooking, he enjoyed coaching baseball and football, going to the lake, fishing, playing pool, both at Ace’s and in tournaments, listening to 50’s music and, most importantly, spending time with his family — especially his grandkids. Mack was an avid lover of both Perry, Oklahoma and his number one sports team, Oklahoma University, The Sooners.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Perry Assembly of God in Perry, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory is his son, Rick Walker of Perry Oklahoma; step-son, Randy Poeling of Yukon, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Linda Rose of Clinton, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Ty Walker, Katelyn Walker; nine step-grandchildren, April, Paige, Brooke, Jason, Julie, Jamie, Rodney, Michelle, Ryan; several step-great-grandchildren: four brothers, Charles Walker, Clifford Walker, Hank Walker, Kenny Walker: five sisters, Kathryn Otwell, Darlene Sharp, Judy Makescry, Gail Makescry, Vicky Walker; numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jerry; parents, Joe and Ruby Walker; son, Rusty Walker; two step-sons, Ronnie Poeling, Mike Poeling; two brothers, Joe Walker and James Walker.
Memorials can be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation -Dementia in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 707, Elk City, Oklahoma 73648.
